Helen’s story

“I first started working in the fitness industry in 2002 after I finished my degree in dance and performing arts. Fitness and well-being has always been a passion of mine, so after working as a dancer it felt like a natural progression moving in to Personal Training.

Whilst finishing my Personal Training qualifications I also taught studio cycling (which I loved) and shortly after became a registered spinning instructor. Alongside my Personal Training and spinning, I wanted to have a specific focus for my own training and became a fitness athlete. I traveled throughout the country and Europe competing at the highest level.

After 10 years of working in a gym where I gained a wealth of experience, I decided to go out on my own and offer home/ online Personal Training. Becoming a mum, meant I understood the difficulties of getting to a gym and (at times) slightly intimidating, so I wanted to find another way of reaching out and supporting in similar situations.

I am a strong believer in finding the right balance, guiding clients in achieving their optimum health and well-being and teaching them to attain life long healthy habits.

Watching my clients achieve this brings so much joy, and after 17 years in the industry, I still have a great passion for it.

I am now in a position to offer my services at 10X Fitness. Kev and Louise have built a unique facility, creating a Personal Training environment away from busy and intimidating gyms. I am really excited to be joining the 10X family and bringing my own vision and passion to the team.”
